Army Major Daniel Merritt was in his kitchen one afternoon tasting multitudes of different hot sauces trying to find one that not only added the appropriate amount of heat to his food, nut that also pleased his palate. When he couldn't find exactly what he wanted, he embarked on a mission to create the "perfect" hot sauce recipe, particularly thinking of what he wished he had on his deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. As you'll see, he took his time creating a well-balanced, sweet & spicy sauce that can pair with almost any meal.
