Using 100% Vermont-grown peppers sourced directly from local farmers, Butterly Bakery creates hot sauces that accentuate these excellent peppers. Cilantro Onion is a ‘use it everywhere’ hot sauce that barely makes it back into the fridge.

It says its cilantro and onion... and that's exactly what it is. No real heat here, but if you don't feel like dicing up some cilantro or onion... well here is your short cut.
This was a good sauce for cooking with - I didn't love it as a topping, too mild and a little too subtle on the flavor. But once I decided to use it a bit more liberally, it made some great pulled pork for tacos and a great breakfast scramble. Because it is milder, you can use a lot of it and really get the flavor instead of the heat, as long as you like onions and cilantro!
I am a avid cilantro lover. I found this sauce to be one of my all time favorites.
