Product Description

This 2015 Screaming MiMi Award winner has the amazing deep flavor of organic black garlic, which is slightly fermented and caramelized. The balanced heat and savory flavor makes it a versatile sauce that can be added with reckless abandon to almost any food. Working with local farmers, Jersey Barnfire makes this sauce by hand in small batches with locally sourced ingredients.

TRY IT ON: Chicken, steak, pork, eggs, fish, veggies, rice, and on soups. Great as a marinade, BBQ sauce, or in salad dressings.

Sweet Heat

This is one of my favorite hot sauces I've tried from Fuego. The black garlic gives hints of sweetness and a relaxed garlic flavor. It's not very hot and people I know that don't like hot sauce, enjoy the flavor. It is one of the few hot sauces I've purchased multiple times since trying.

Medium heat with an Asian flair

Sweet, caramelized flavor with roasty garlic and spices. Kind of similar flavor profile to a chutney or a korean BBQ sauce. Goes great with stir-fried veg and chicken, pork or beef. Wish it was a bit hotter but it's mild enough to be pretty accessible!

Mellow and tasty

Love it on burgers!

Sweet, Gentle Heat

I wasn't sure what to make of this sauce based on description alone, but it's turned out to be one of my favorite club offerings so far! Smooth and thick. Earthy, subtly sweet, and not too spicy. I'd actually like it a bit hotter. Regardless, it's a great, well-balanced sauce with not-at-all-overwhelming garlicky flavor.

Awesome on Mexican food!

This sauce overall is very nice, but for me, it's particularly great on Mexican food! Sure, a lot of hot sauces are great on Mexican food, but this sauce is really flavored to not dominate the taste of the food, but to compliment it.
