LaMar Sauces were born out of a small family seafood restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah. LaMar and his crew were tired of the same old seafood sauces and condiments and decided to create their own new age concoctions. Caribbean lime is their founder's favorite hot sauce and provides a blast of fresh lime and the quick heat of green Serrano chili peppers.
TRY IT ON: Seafood, chicken, and pork dishes. Mix with mayonnaise and sour cream for the best fish taco sauce (many a restaurant’s secret sauce).
HEAT LEVEL: Medium
Loved this hot sauce on fish tacos and other seafood. Spicy, not hot with very interesting lime and green pepper flavor. Only disappointment was how quickly I used it up!
This hot sauce is super good. It isn't overly spicy so I tend to use a lot more of it than I would with other hot sauces. Goes great with many different food varieties.
This sauce has a huge, delicious serrano smell, but with a balanced mild-to-medium heat. Limey and with a big "green" flavor, this one doesn't last long in our house.
I usually find something to like about all of the Fuego Box hot sauces we try; it quickly becomes obvious which are really my favorites, though, as some bottles disappear faster than others. I think this one made it...a week? in our house, maybe? BRIGHT, grassy, green, hot but not overly so...great on SO many things, including Thai food!
