Small Axe Pepper’s Hot Sauces are made with peppers purchased at a premium price directly from community gardens and urban farms across America. The Oakland Hot Sauce is no different. Made from peppers sourced from Northern California community gardens, this flavor - the last ever formulated by our late, great Chef King Phojanakong - is a tribute to one of California’s most famous ingredients... Raisins, plus apple cider vinegar, garlic, and smoked paprika, combine to give the sauce an almost sweet, smokey, chutney flavor, and consistency.

TRY IT ON:

This sauce works really well as a base for spicy salad dressings. Makes the perfect spicy balsamic-type glaze.
